Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of fuvia.co, portal.fuvia.co and related Fuvia services operated by Future Via LLC (“Fuvia”, “we”, “us”).
1. Agreement
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The Services are intended for students aged 12 to 19.
- If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or guardian, or through an account provided by your school.
- A parent, guardian or school that creates or authorizes an account is responsible for that account, including all activity under it and any charges incurred.
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
- Account credentials are personal. Do not share them, and tell us promptly at support@fuvia.co if you believe an account has been accessed without authorization.
- One account is for one student. Accounts may not be shared between students.
3. School and institutional licenses
Where a school licenses Fuvia for its students, additional terms apply under the license agreement signed with that institution. Where those terms conflict with these Terms, the license agreement prevails for that school’s users. Schools are responsible for obtaining any parental consents required in their jurisdiction before providing student information to us.
4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment provider.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then.
- Prices may change. We will give notice before a change applies to your renewal.
- If applicable consumer law in your country gives you a right to withdraw from a distance contract, that right applies. For other refund requests, contact support@fuvia.co.
- Applicable taxes may be added depending on your location.
5. What we provide
Fuvia provides access to project-based courses, learning materials, platform tools, mentor support and certificates, as described on the plan you purchase or the license your school holds.
Course content, catalog composition and platform features may be updated, added or withdrawn over time as we improve the program. We will not materially reduce what a paid plan provides during a billing period you have already paid for.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, download, record, resell, sublicense or publicly distribute Fuvia course content
- Share account access, or use one account for multiple students
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
- Upload content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or that infringes anyone’s rights
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent a project as your own work when it is not
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Services, or with other users’ use of them
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this section.
7. Third-party tools
Fuvia courses teach students to work with third-party professional tools. Those tools are operated by their own providers, under their own terms and privacy policies, and some have their own age requirements. We are not responsible for third-party tools, their availability, their pricing, or their content. Parents, guardians and schools should review a tool’s terms before a student creates an account with it.
8. Student work and content
Students keep ownership of the projects and content they create on Fuvia.
By submitting a project, you grant Fuvia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display and process it for the purpose of operating the Services, delivering mentor feedback, and assessing course completion.
If a project is entered into a challenge or the Student Showcase, you additionally grant us permission to display it in connection with that showcase and to name the student by first name and last initial. This requires parent or school approval and can be withdrawn on request.
We may remove content that breaches these Terms.
9. Certificates
Certificates are issued by Fuvia and confirm that a student completed the stated course or category within the Fuvia program. They are a record of completion. They are not a degree, a school credit, a professional qualification, or a licence to practise, and they do not guarantee admission to any institution or any employment outcome.
10. Challenges and prizes
Monthly challenges are optional. Each challenge may have its own eligibility criteria, deadlines, judging process and prizes, published with that challenge. Judging decisions are final. Prizes are non-transferable and may be substituted for an item of comparable value. Where a winner is under 18, a parent, guardian or school must accept the prize on their behalf. Challenges may be void where prohibited by local law.
11. Mentor support
Mentor support is provided to help students progress through course material and projects. It is educational guidance. It is not tutoring for school examinations, academic supervision, counselling, or professional advice of any kind.
12. Intellectual property
All course content, videos, project briefs, curricula, platform software, designs, logos and the Fuvia name are owned by Future Via LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription or school license grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use that content for personal or, in the case of a school license, in-classroom educational use. No other rights are granted.
13. Availability
We aim to keep the Services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, technical failures and events outside our control may cause interruptions.
14. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if payment fails, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to access the Services ends. We handle any remaining personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will meet every requirement or produce any particular educational or career result.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Future Via LLC and its officers, employees and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid to Fuvia in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Future Via LLC against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or content you submit.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law to bring a claim in your local courts, disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Orange County, California.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or through the platform before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
